Because the "Katrina" Site was becoming too large and unwieldy, these pages will now show the Pass's determination and spirit during its Recovery. The Pass went through a long recovery process following Camille's Wrath in 1969, and it will take time to bring back The Ambiance, The Jewel, The Opulence --- that could only be found in the Pass. Mayor Chip McDermott and the Aldermen are doing a fine job along with the courageous citizens who have reestablished their lives.
The "Pass Recovery" is made easier by the continued support from active "Sister Cites" and the many individual "Volunteers" who not only send financial aid but their able-bodied presence in performing manual labor.
